Enteral Conscious Sedation or “Orally Administered Sedation”, sometimes called “Sedation Dentistry” is administered by taking a pill. All your body functions remain in your control and you are able to breathe on your own. Some degree of amnesia is common.
Sleep Apnea Treatment
For patients with mild to moderate sleep apnea, a dental device can be worn to hold your lower jaw line in a more forward position. With maintaining this forward position throughout the night while wearing the sleep apnea device the airway is kept open during sleep, patients can breath freely and oxygenated.
